Khabis Mosque of Shahdad

This building is located in Shahdad City (former Khabis City) in east of Kerman and its history backs to Safavid dynasty era. This mosque is mostly destructed and just some parts of its walls, roof, dome and the plaster mehrab are remained. It has 26.25m length and 14.5m width and includes shabestan, courtyard, backyard which are fully brick made. The rectangular shabestan is located between the courtyard and the backyard and is covered by adobe piers, six domes and adobe ceilings. The backyard of the mosque is a low width rectangular which there is a square room at one of its corners which ends into the shabestan. The main courtyard is a mostly vast square.
