The author of Matlaol Shams book has written on this mosque as below:
‘’ Jam;e mosque of shahrood which is located in suburb, is a big building among the gardens and green farms. While it is adobe made but is very strong building with square plan. The shabestan has eight strong columns which hold the big ceiling of the shabestan. The mosque was repaired in 1242 Hijri by locale people. Surface of the mosque is one meter higher than the street suface and the water reservoir is placed under the shabestan’’
