The Center of Mosque Studies - "During the days of Nowruz, the Imam Reza (A.S.) Banquet House will host more than fifty thousand pilgrims of Nowruz daily, "Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi announced.
Seyed Khalil Monabati said, "Both Hazrat Reza (A.S.) banquet houses are serving pilgrims during the holidays of Nowruz, so that in these days, 45 to 55 thousand warm meals are served daily for lunch and dinner."
He further emphasized that since March 17, a group of servants of the Pilgrim Welfare Organization of Astan Quds Razavi settled on the five routes leading to Mashhad to receive pilgrims of Nowruz with the blessed food of Imam Reza (A.S.) until the end of the Nowruz holidays."
Referring to the honorary servants' engagement at Hazrat Reza (A.S.) Banquet House, Deputy of Sacred Premises and Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi stated, "In these days, 150 honorary men and 80 honorary women are involved in the banquet houses to serve pilgrims."
Noting that in the past year the pilgrims' reception rate has increased dramatically Monabati said, "In the year 96, with the opening of the Ghadir guesthouse where the latest cooking industry was used, the reception capacity of Hazrat Reza's (A.S.) Banquet House increased considerably so that only in 1996, more than seven million pilgrims and lovers of Hazrat Raza (A.S.) were received, while in 1995, only four million pilgrims were enjoyed by the Banquet House."
