Saman Jam’e Mosque of Shahrekord

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;
line-height:115%;mso-bidi-language:FA">This mosque is located in Masjed Jam’e
District and in center of Saman City and 20km far from north of Shahrekord. It
has two shabestan within two entrance gates in north eastern and south western
sides of the courtyard. The first entrance gate is a domed vestibule. The plan
of shabestan is rectangular and is composed of reticulated arches which are
placed on eight stone columns. There is no special design in the mosque and
just some brick works are done in the northern gate. The history of the mosque
backs to Qajar era and used materials in building are bricks, plaster and
concrete.
