Jam’e Mosque of Khouzan

Jam’e Mosque of khouzan is a four Ivans (balcony) style building which is located in Khouzan district and is built in 8th century Hijri at the same time with Ilkhani dynasty era. In Safavid era (1086Hijri) some repairs were done in this mosque and some parts also were added tu the main building such as minaret and its top part on south side and some drawings under semi-arches of the four ivans. In Qajar era also the shabestan was extended and repaired. Some of the other specifics of this building are stalactites, plaster works, tile works and brick works within stony columns which are designed with carving work.
