 6/29/2014

Chahar Menar District is one of the oldest districts of Yazd city. The district was nominated as this name because of existence of four minarets of two seminaries which are located across from each other. These minarets were built in 728 Hijri by Shams-al-Din Mohammad Bin Rokn-al-Din's order and caused to flourish the district. Khezr SHahi Mosque is composed of balcony, summer courtyard and warm room which all were built by Sayyed Amir Jalal-Al-Din KHezr Shah. The process of constructing of this mosque was started at 849 HIjri.
