In ‘’History and geography of Tabriz Darol Saltaneh’’ is written about this mosque:
… The foundation of the mosque is built before the Iran-Russia war and signing the turkmenchai treaty. Then because of happening war, there was a delay to construct the mosque and it was completed after death of Abbas Mirza (the Prince of Iran) and in late years of Mohammad Shah’s reign.
