Hussein Kashani Khatib
(The Imam of Ayatollah Kashani Mosque of Tehran)
He was born in a religious family in 1925 and lost his father when he was just 3 years old. After completion of elementary school, he went to Isfahan to start his studies in Islamic Sciences. The, he left Isfahan to Mashhad to learn Fiqh and Osoul by attending the lectures of Ayatollah Yazdi. He could complete his education to achieve Ijtihad Dgree which is the most important academic degree of seminaries. He started political and social activities by coming to Tehran and in coordination with Ayatollah Kshani. He is the Imam of Ayatollah Kashani since forty three years back.
